Brent Buckner

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

My name is Brent Buckner, and I live in Smyrna, GA with my wife of 12 years, Erica, and our two
kids, Evie (7), and James (4). As a family, we spend most of our Fme just being together.
Whether it’s the small things like playing outside, Saturday video games, and having movie
nights, or the big things like our annual beach trip.

Professionally, I’ve worked for the Chick-fil-A Support Center (Corporate Office) for 12 years. All
my Fme has been spent in the IT Department, serving various roles around soTware
engineering and access management for user accounts. I’ve always enjoyed working with
computers and playing around with new technology, so it’s been the perfect job for me!

I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009, with a B.A. in CogniFve Science. During the
summer of 2008, leading into my senior year, I had the privilege of joining the summer
Crosswalk tour. I sFll have many vivid memories of the people we met, the faciliFes we toured,
and the sites we got to see as we drove out west on I-10 through the vastness of Texas, and the
beauFful deserts of New Mexico and Arizona unFl we reached San Diego.

I saw God at work on that trip. Not just on the kids and adults that we visited with, but also on
me. I’m thankful for this opportunity to serve again, and I look forward to serving with each of
you!
